Sara Chaiton Scholarship For Resilient Women Apply for Scholarships 2024 Sara Chaiton Scholarship for Resilient Women. This scholarship in her honor will be given to a Jewish teen or young adult whose education has been altered or temporarily delayed due to the death of an immediate relative. The money will be $500 every year.
Sara Chaiton was a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who exemplified perseverance and fortitude her entire life.
Sara Chaiton Scholarship For Resilient Women Scholarships for College 2024 Sara was a Holocaust survivor whose life was destroyed by the Nazis when she was just 15 years old. After losing the majority of her family and community, Sara was able to travel to Canada and return to high school in her fifties.
This scholarship intends to memorialize Sara Chaiton’s remarkable life by assisting Jewish students who have been affected by the loss of a loved one.
Scholarship Programs 2024 Any Jewish female student who is a high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student whose education has been altered or halted due to the death of an immediate relative is eligible to apply for this grant. We encourage applications from working and/or low-income students in particular.
